The Fireball Gallery at The Murphy Auto Museum
Opening Reception: May 11
What a whirlwind event! The new Fireball Gallery — a space dedicated to automotive culture, art, and design — opened at the Murphy Auto Museum… and the reception couldn’t have been better. The event drew a huge crowd, and a fun time was had by all. I had a great time chatting with lots of press, including Frank Butkus-Leutz from Wrench Nation.
In addition to my canvases, I also revealed several skateboard decks, AND l also had my new book on hand: “Air Cooled: Porsche Cars as Art”. (A small supply of signed copies are still available at The Murphy.)
Many thanks to Fireball Tim Lawrence, David Neel, and everyone involved for creating a unique space dedicated to Automotive Art. I’m proud to have my work hang along side that of fellow artists Wes Nielsen, Chris Garcia, Bohemia Incorporated, and Johnny Martinez… and the show will run through July, so stop by and check it out!
